Day 12

I made a difference today by helping a man carry some boxes to the office for him. Alan and Ellen also helped as well, and I know I made a difference for him because that way he wouldn't have to carry the boxes himself. He showed his appreciation by saying thank you to us after. Today instead of helping around at home, I helped someone else that I didn't know. I feel happy because I could make that persons day a whole lot easier.

Day 11

My good deed that I did today was by taking out the trash for my mum without being asked. She was surprised when she saw that the trash had already been taken out and she showed her thankfulness by saying thanks to me. It helped her a lot because that way she wouldn't have as much chores to do today. I felt proud of myself that it helped my mum because she could have some time for herself to relax or do something that she wanted to do.

Day 10

This morning when my brother was doing his maths homework, he started having trouble solving an equation because he had suddenly forgot how to do it. I looked at the equation and explained to him how to solve it and then he remembered how to do it. He showed his appreciation by saying thanks to me. It felt good helping my brother out because if I didn't explain to him how to do it, he would have had to ask my mum how do it, and then my mum would have had to stop doing what she was doing to help him.

Day 9

I made a difference today by helping Cameron out when he was struggling to get his work done and trying to fill out the 40 Hour Famine form for our class. He didn't have much time to do it and he had to give the booklets out by the end of the day, so I decided to help him put all the booklets in the plastic bags for him so that the job was easier for him and so he could get his work done at the same time. I know I made a difference for him because he said thanks to me after and it felt good helping out a classmate when they are in need.

Day 8

I made a difference today by cleaning my piano myself. My mum was surprised to see that I did it myself because normally she does it for me. I gave up my time while my favourite show was on just to clean the piano. Once she saw me cleaning she said 'good job!' and that was how I knew I made a difference. I feel very proud of myself and of all the other good deeds that I have done.

Day 7

During school today I made a difference to a girl from room 10. She was pushing a trolley with a projector on it and I could tell that she was struggling to open the door while pushing the trolley through, so I decided to hold the door for her and help her lift the trolley up so that it could go through the door. I could tell that she appreciated it because she said thank you to me afterwards. I felt proud of myself that I could help a school mate and make their day a whole lot easier.

Day 6

Today I made a difference by cleaning the bathroom for my family. I know I made a difference because that way no one would slip over and my mum said thank you to me because she could take it off her to do list for today. I felt great that I could put a smile on my mums face.
